1. Group at a Glance

Jumbo Glass Group is the unified export brand of a glass manufacturing group founded in 2000 as Gevergel Engineering Glass Co., Ltd. Over two and a half decades we have grown from a focused producer of heat-reflective and Low-E glass into a multi-product group serving architects, façade consultants, contractors, distributors and end-users across architectural, bathroom and interior acoustic applications.

Today the group operates through two complementary production identities:

Architectural · Parent Brand

Jumbo Glass Group

Oversized tempered, laminated, Low-E IGU, curved, printed and safety glazing for façades, curtain walls, skylights, balustrades and atria.

Our Origin · 2000

Gevergel Engineering Glass

The group's founding name and technical root — heat-reflective (solar control) glass and offline Low-E coating expertise that still underpins every coated make-up we ship.

Speciality Division

Shunzhifa Glass Co., Ltd.

Specializing in the production of glass for shower enclosures, soundproof pods (quiet rooms/meeting pods), partitions, railings, and skylights—encompassing precision processing, edge grinding, coating, and assembly.

Group Structure: Jumbo Glass Group serves as the unified brand for the international market; Jumbo Glass focuses on producing extra-large architectural curtain wall and window/door glass; Gevergel Engineering Glass represents the Group's founding business and specializes in reflective and Low-E glass; and Shunzhifa Glass is the specialized division dedicated to glass for shower enclosures, soundproof pods, partitions, railings, and skylights.

2. From Heat-Reflective Glass to a Multi-Segment Group

2000 —

Gevergel Engineering Glass Co., Ltd. founded

Established in Foshan as a specialised producer of heat-reflective (solar-control) glass and Low-E glass, supplying coated glass for commercial and residential façades across southern China.

2000s–2010s —

Deepening coating & processing capability

Expanded into tempered, laminated and insulating glass processing. Gevergel's coating know-how became the technical foundation for the group's architectural product range.

2010s —

Jumbo-format & export focus

Investment in jumbo downstream lines enabled oversized monolithic, laminated and IGU production. Export markets in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia became a core business under the Jumbo Glass Group name.

Later expansion —

Shunzhifa Glass Co., Ltd.

Addition of Shunzhifa Glass to develop two specialist product lines: shower enclosure (bathroom partition) glass and acoustic pod / quiet-room glass — bringing precision edgework, decorative coating and acoustic interlayer capability into the group.

Today —

One group, three focused names

Architectural glazing (Jumbo Glass) + shower & acoustic specialities (Shunzhifa showerspace and AcouSpace) share  manufacturing base, quality system and export organisation — giving customers a single point of accountability across segments.

Lamination

PVB 0.38–2.28 mm and SGP structural interlayer

Clean lay-up for optical clarity (balustrade, overhead, acoustic use)

Residual-strength and post-breakage-retention make-ups

Insulating glass

Warm-edge spacer, air / argon / krypton cavities

Dual-seal system for long-term dew-point stability

Coating surface position (#2 / #3) engineered per project

Coating, printing & finishing

Offline Low-E via major coating partners (Gevergel's original speciality)

Ceramic frit / silk-screen / digital printing for shading & branding

Batch-ID traceability across every order

5. Quality Control System

We maintain a rigorous quality control system to ensure the delivery of high-quality glass products to our customers.

✅ Dimensional inspections are conducted at every stage of production, including cutting, edge grinding, and tempering.

✅ High-intensity lighting is used to inspect glass surfaces, ensuring they are free from defects.

✅ Rigorous stress testing is performed on tempered glass to guarantee its strength and safety.

✅ Warp and deformation checks ensure a high level of surface flatness.

✅ High-impact testing ensures that tempered, laminated, and insulating glass products are safe for use in architectural applications.

6. How a Procurement Manager Should Read This Page

Can you hold tolerances on oversize panels? CNC cutting, furnace control, flatness & roller-wave checks

Will tempered glass self-explode? HST @ 554°F × 4 h; NiS breakage controlled to <0.08%

Is the Low-E performance real? Low-E IGU U-value 1.2–1.8 W/m²K; vacuum glass ~0.7, small format only

Can it go in façade / roof / balcony? EN 12150, EN 14449, EN 1279, ASTM C1048 / C1172 / E1300

Do you make shower & pod glass too? Yes — Shunzhifa division: precision edgework, holes, acoustic laminates

Can you ship to EU / US / GCC? FOB / CIF / CFR / DAP; A-frame crating, humidity-controlled sea freight

7. Project Evidence, Not Stock Photos

Reference experience spans high-rise unitized curtain walls, rotated tower façades, large-span atria, sloped overhead glazing, P8A balustrades, shower enclosures and office acoustic pods.

Example: Qianhai Chuangjin Tower, Shenzhen — 149.7 m / 32 floors, unitized façade with panels up to 1800 × 4300 mm, make-ups such as (10+1.90PVB+10)+12A+15 and (8+1.52PVB+8)+12A+12.

8. Why Buyers Choose a Manufacturer Over a "Cheaper" Supplier

We do not claim U = 0.7 W/m²K for ordinary Low-E IGU. Low-E IGU is 1.2–1.8; vacuum glass is the exception.

We do not sell HST as "never breaks". We sell controlled NiS risk.

We do not treat jumbo glass as "big glass". We treat it as thermal stress, flatness, crate dynamics and crane access.

One group covers architecture + shower + acoustic — fewer interfaces for multi-product projects.
